Complete Bathroom Renovations

Complete bathroom renovations in Maldon.

We carry out complete bathroom renovations in Maldon, taking the room from the old suite through to the finished bathroom. Tell us what you would like to change using the Get a Price form, or call Connor to talk it through.

Your Renovation

From the old suite to the finished room.

A complete renovation covers taking out the existing bathroom, preparing the walls and floor, running the pipework and waste for the new fittings, then installing and finishing the suite. As bathroom fitters we look at those stages together, because a choice made in one usually affects the others.

You do not need a finished design to start the conversation. Tell us what you want to keep, what you want to replace and what is difficult to use, so we can discuss the extent of the refit.

Keeping the layout or changing it

If the bath, basin and WC are already in usable positions, keeping them there may mean fewer changes to the pipework. A new layout is worth considering when the room is awkward to use, for example when the shower is squeezed into a corner. Moving the WC depends on there being a workable route for its waste.

Before you choose a shower

Showers are designed for particular water systems, so the right one depends on how your hot water is supplied and the pressure you have. If your current shower is weak or the temperature changes when someone runs a tap, mention it. It helps us talk about which types of shower would suit your home.

We could not recommend Connor and Plumbers.ESX more. His work is of a very high standard, he is very knowledgeable and helpful. We added extra bits along the way but nothing was too much trouble. We are delighted with our new bathroom, Connor works efficiently and is a very tidy worker. Excellent service all round.

Connor came out to refit some of our bathroom including a new shower and taps. He identified the source of our leak straight away and also fixed our toilet while he was here. He was lovely and friendly and left the place tidy. I can't recommend him enough.

Thank you to Connor for responding and resolving the issues quickly in my home with outstanding professionalism. He changed our bathroom tap, identified a leak which he immediately fixed and corrected some pipes leading to the shower. Everything was left tidy. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing needs.

Questions

Planning a bathroom in Maldon.

Do you renovate bathrooms in Maldon?

Yes. Maldon is part of the Essex area we cover for complete bathroom renovations, including removal of the old bathroom, pipework, installation and finishing.

Do I need building regulations approval to replace my bathroom?

Replacing fittings in an existing bathroom does not generally need building regulations approval in England. New drainage or electrical work may, and creating a new bathroom is treated differently. We can discuss whether your plans involve any of these.

Should I buy the suite before contacting you?

There is no need. If you have already chosen products, email us the details so we can talk about whether they suit the room and your water system before anything is ordered.
